  1. Sometimes I feel these two courses overlap and I get a bit unsure which assignment I am posting or writing for. It is laughable.

  3. Dr Cate I am not always sure about what assignments are optional and what are required. I try to go by the weekly sessions and where it says Due this week, but hen when I click on to blog there are several other blog archives with due dates. I feel dazed and confused:(

  4. Ladies: I will try super hard to triple check your assignments so that the blog, the myTMC weekly checklist, and the syllabus schedule all line up exactly. Can you think of some way to differentiate between ethics and community health? I didn't anticipate at the beginning of our course that you would be in another class at exactly the same time and all the material would be due on the same day. I'd change our due-date, but that might make things more confusing at this point. Let me know if you've got suggestions. Happy to hear them.

  5. I think it is nice that these 2 classes are at the same time. It gives more relevance to both topics. And I see what Donna is talking about as I just finished the 3 case studies and I noticed that there is 2 other blog topics, Codes and Ethics, and Research on Human Subjects that is due now also. Those 2 were not listed in "session 5". Thank you for helping us with this dilemma.

  6. I'm also confused on what replies we are supposed to make, some say one response, some say 2. I have been doing those. But if there is nothing specified, are we required to give responses? ( I have not responded to all posts if nothing was indicated that we were supposed to).

  7. You can always respond to more, but if I haven't specified, then you just make a single post, or nothing if it's optional and you choose not to.

  8. It is difficult to separate the two, but I reality, I don't know they should be separate. For instance, we just watched a video on the heroin crisis. I keep thinking of the couple who are addicted. If I were in a position to provide assistance to them, I would have to be cautious not to let my feelings about the predicament they have found themselves in cloud how I treat them. I believe as nurses, we are used to thinking of the patient, but this class has forced me look at things differently. Our treatment of patients should be directed by more than the need to keep ourselves out of trouble so to speak.
